Shaping the Future Together
It was clear from the very beginning: Urban Utopia Berlin was no ordinary event. It was a place where ideas were not just presented, but shared, explored further, and shaped together. And we were right in the middle of it all—with our project, our vision, and the desire to design the future alongside others.
The Venue
For one weekend, the site was transformed into a vibrant gathering space for people working toward a different kind of city—one that is more sustainable, equitable, and community-oriented. In addition to designers, activists, artists, researchers, and tech tinkerers, there were also many **architects and urban planners** on site who demonstrated how a city can be not only built but also conceived.
We Were There
Our exhibition was nestled within an inspiring mix of workshops, talks, installations, and real-world prototypes. We were particularly impressed by the openness of the visitors—the many in-depth conversations, critical questions, and the desire for genuine change. It was a mutual learning experience among equals.
Conclusion
What left a lasting impression on us: Urban Utopia opened up spaces—for new alliances, new ways of thinking, and concrete collaborations. It wasn’t just about beautiful visions, but about testing real alternatives:
- How can urban greening be scaled up?
- What does urban development focused on the common good look like?
- How do technology, art, architecture, and civil society truly work together?
For us, Urban Utopia Berlin was a place where attitude, practice, and utopia came together. A place that showed that transformation isn’t just a theory—it’s something we can shape together.
Thank you to everyone who made this space possible. We’re taking many new ideas with us—and we’d love to come back.
