Where does a property line run according to the available geodata? Which trees are located on a given area, how tall are they, and what are their trunk diameters and crown widths? eMission-X documents natural areas and tree stands using GNSS, RTK positioning, and digital measurement methods.

Recording Property Boundaries and Areas

We use existing cadastral and geographic data for navigation in the field. Using GNSS and RTK, we can document points, area outlines, woodlands, bodies of water, and other landscape features with georeferenced coordinates. The data can be further processed in formats such as CSV or KML, among others.

Tree Mapping and Tree Surveying

• Tree species and location coordinates
• Tree height
• Trunk diameter at breast height (BHD/DBH)
• Crown width
• Photographic documentation and supplementary inventory data

This makes it possible to record inventory levels and track changes during subsequent comparative measurements.

RTK Positioning

With our GNSS receiver and RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) correction data, position accuracies in the centimeter range—approximately 1 to 2 cm—are possible under good conditions. This is not a guaranteed maximum deviation: reception, vegetation, shading, and the correction service all affect the actual accuracy. The accuracy of tree height, trunk diameter, and crown measurements must be considered separately.

Documenting Natural Development

Repeated surveys can reveal changes in the growth of woody plants, tree dimensions, and vegetation structures over extended periods of time and support ecological documentation.
