There were still 32 trees left to fill in the gaps
…and since we were already in the area (just 50 km from Dissen), we made a detour to the railroad line near Tauche. There, we own land on both sides of a decommissioned railroad line. Okay, on one side, just to the right of the former railroad tracks. We had exactly 32 trees left over from the planned planting, so we planted them right away to “fill in the gaps.” There’s still enough space along the railroad track for more, so we’ll be heading back there to plant some more.
